David McClelland is a journalist and broadcaster specialising in technology, telecoms, cybersecurity and consumer affairs. David’s career began in the IT industry leading major infrastructure transformation projects in the technology, media and telecoms sectors with companies including IBM, Dell and Fujitsu.
Now a go-to name on British television reporting on how technology is changing our lives, David has for more than a decade been BBC Rip Off Britain’s resident technology consumer champion, led major cybercrime investigations for BBC Watchdog and The One Show, hosted Challenge TV mobile technology show Planet of the Apps, reported for BBC Newsround and Right on the Money, and is a regular on ITV Good Morning Britain, Channel 4 Steph’s Packed Lunch, BBC Crimewatch Live and Morning Live.
As a journalist and writer, David’s bylines include national newspapers and specialist titles such as Metro, Computer Weekly, Wired, CNET, TechRadar and International Business Times. He is also host of chart-leading podcasts including The CFO Playbook and CXO Secrets.
