Neal joined Babcock following the acquisition of VT Group in 2010. Neal held two MD roles in the Land Sector and was then MD of Military Aviation before being appointed CEO of Aviation in 2020 and joining the Group Executive Committee. Neal led the sale of certain countries of our European Aerial Emergency Services businesses which completed in March 2023. Following the disposal, Neal led the mobilisation of the Skynet SDW contract that provides end to end satellite communications for the UK MoD. Neal was appointed as Chief Executive, Mission Systems in August 2023, and recently appointed as Chief Executive, Nuclear in April 2026.
Neal has a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from the University of Westminster. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a graduate of the Advanced Management Programme from Harvard Business School.
