Sebastien Borel is Vice President Business at Lilium. Borel brings some 20 years of aerospace experience, having served at Airbus and Honeywell in various leadership positions. Borel started his career in Denver, CO with Jeppesen, a Boeing Company before joining an aerospace IT company in California. He then returned to France and joined Airbus in 2010 where he held various senior management positions to end as Chief Commercial Officer of Airbus’ subsidiary NAVBLUE. His last three years before Lilium were spent with Honeywell as Vice-President, Strategic Partnerships, M&A and Licensing in Europe. Borel holds commercial pilot licenses and attended the French Merchant Navy officer academy.
